The World is My Playground
I am the person I answer to. No supervisors. No bosses. No boyfriends. It's just me and my own calling. Despite feeling bittersweet about my college graduation, I can honestly admit that I truly enjoy the benefits that come with being a post-graduate. Degree and all, I know that life has so much more to offer me and it's only a matter of time before I get a little taste of everything. My first official job. My first big move. My first big girl mistake. Etc, etc. What's even crazier is that I am slowly penciling in more events to fill up my social and career calendar. The grind never stops and I love that.
Earlier today, I was in Orange County. As of right now, I am in Los Angeles. Tomorrow, I will be at Disneyland. The day after, I will be at the ABC studio lot. (Woohoo) I also just purchased my tickets for Berkeley for Memorial Day weekend and my GF's graduation. It's going to be an eventful week. Saying good-bye to my first dream was difficult, but it has made me aspired to do even greater things as a Trojan alum:
- Build a school in Uganda
- Missionary work
- Europe travel
- Motivational speaking
- Work at red carpet events
- Pay for my brother's college education
In order to be amazing and do amazing things, I need to give it my 110. The discipline and the effort does not end after graduating. If anything, I have to open my heart to all the possibilities for risk-taking and at times, even failing. The world is my playground and I'm ready to glam it up.
Okay, time to go to bed. It's going to be a long day tomorrow!
